Discover the retrospective of the first great master of Romanian painting - Theodor Aman, the exhibition with graphic art by Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali, created for the magnificent ballet by Manuel de Falla, the "Red, Yellow and Blue" show by the superstar of contemporary Romanian art, Irina Dragomir, a photography exhibition by the famous German photojournalist Barbara Klemm, which includes photographs from communist Romania and an exhibition dedicated to Marcel Iancu, with both paintings and architecture.

Barbara Klemm
For the first time discover pictures from Western and Eastern Germany before unification along with a series of photos taken in our country during the communism. Barbara Klemm's exhibition, one of Germany's most important photographers, impresses with black-and-white pictures of divided and reunified Germany, pictures that became "symbols of contemporary history." This includes portraits of personalities from politics, economics and art world, as well as snapshots of people in everyday or exceptional situations.

Choose the special tour of the Contemporary Pavilion, "Red, Yellow and Blue" with Irina Dragomir's strong in colors exhibition whose curator is the painter Alexandru Rădvan. Irina is one of the most appreciated voices in contemporary art in Bucharest and this is her first solo show.

Come to explore the exhibition dedicated to the twentieth century's phenomenon artist who have oriented and defined the artistical avant-gardes in Romania and Israel, bringing them in line with the Western art. Is the first major presentation of his artistic activity from 70 years of creation.

Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali
Spanish artists were the creators of the sets and costumes, and Picasso even create the dancers make up. The ballet The Three-Corner Hat premiered in 1919 at Alhambra Theater in London with Picasso also contributing to the production of the show and the composition. After the premiere in Paris in 1920, Picasso published a body of artworks called "Three-Corner Hat" which are present now in Art Safari.

Theodor Aman
Theodor Aman's 155 works (painting and graphic art) borrowed from some Romania's museums and from private collections are exhibited in the Museum Pavilion. Aman's artworks capture the lifestyle of the Romanian social and cultural elite of the 19th century, describing personalities of the time, social events, historical events or portraying beautiful women.

After Aman built his house-art studio in 1869, the house's garden (then large, full of trees, shrubs, flower plots and ornamental plants) became a fascinating motif for the painter. We will capture together the great painter's fascination for details.
